Shah Rukh Khan gives an inspirational message to Kolkata Knight Riders following their defeat

Shah Rukh Khan has responded to his team, Kolkata Knight Riders’ loss in Monday’s Indian Premier League match in Mumbai. Rajasthan Royals defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by seven runs as the latter failed to chase down RR’s target of 217 runs. Shah Rukh took to Twitter to lift his team’s spirits and to share some words of wisdom.

Shah Rukh praised KKR captain Shreyas Iyer, pacer Umesh Yadav, and Australian batter Aaron Finch on Twitter. He also congratulated bowler Sunil Narine on his 150th match for KKR and head coach Brendon McCullum on his unbeaten 158 in the IPL’s inaugural match 15 years ago.

Following the match, he wrote,”Well played boys. Stupendous effort by @ShreyasIyer15 @AaronFinch5 @y_umesh congrats to #SunilNarine for the 150th match and @Bazmccullum for that innings 15 yrs ago. I know we lost but if we have to go down this is the only way to do it! Keep your chins up.”

Shah Rukh recently posed for photographers for the first time. On Sunday, he was one of the guests at Baba Siddique’s iftaar bash, which was also attended by Salman Khan and other celebrities. Shah Rukh arrived at the bash dressed in a black kurta pyjama and said ‘aadab’ to the paparazzi.

Pathaan, Shah Rukh’s comeback film, is currently in production. He was most recently seen in the 2018 film Zero, alongside Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Pathaan reunites him with Deepika Padukone, who co-starred with him in Chennai Express, and will also star John Abraham. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, will be released in theatres on January 25, 2023. The actor recently returned from shooting in Spain for the film. Several images from the sets there have made their way onto the internet, offering a glimpse of Shah Rukh’s appearance in the film.
